11 ways to get free baby bottles

Get Free Baby Bottles From The Hospital

Many hospitals give you free samples and allow you to take home all of the essentials that are in the room with you. When my sister had my nephew the hospital even gave her a free baby bag full of free samples that included a few baby bottles. If they don’t give you samples, just ask them for some and they will give them to you. I have worked at a few hospitals and they are stocked full of samples.

If you are breastfeeding make sure you speak to the lactation nurse because they can give you free breast pump collection bottles as well as extra flanges. When I was at the hospital after I delivered Kennedy the lactation nurse also gave me a free manual breast pump. I already had a free electric breast pump but the manual one came in handy too.

Get Free Baby Bottles From The Pediatrician

Just like you can get free baby bottles from the hospital you can also get them from the pediatrician. Before I went on to work as a nurse in the hospital, I worked at a clinic and we use to give out free baby bottles and formula all of the time. My mother-in-law is very good at winning contests and getting free stuff. Everyone would always ask her how is this possible and she would always say, “A closed mouth don’t get fed.” What she means is ask and you shall receive.

Get Free Baby Bottles from Diaper Loyalty Rewards Programs.

If you read Day 1: How to Get Free Diapers then you learned how to get free diapers from diaper loyalty programs. Did you know you can also get free bottles? Just like you can earn reward points toward diapers, you can also choose to trade in points for cash back or coupons to get free baby bottles.

Get Free Baby Bottles from Baby and Maternity Expos

These expos are so much fun. This gives you an opportunity to try out products and learn about the newest and best baby essentials that are on the market. Every guest gets free gift bags full of samples that include free baby bottles just for coming. You also get an opportunity to get entered into giveaways to win more free baby essentials.

Get Free Baby Bottles from your Baby Shower

Your baby shower is your opportunity to get as many free baby essentials as you possibly can. If you have a specific brand or type of bottle in mind you should register for them. I didn’t register for a complete bottle system but I registered for a few bottles of a select few brands. We really liked Tommee Tippee and Comotomo bottles.

Conclusion

Now you know how to get free baby bottles. I discussed 11 ways on how to get free baby bottles. You don’t really need that many baby bottles so it makes more sense to get them for free. I believe in getting as much free stuff as I can, especially for your baby.

Before your baby is born you really don’t know if they will be picky or even take well to a bottle so it is better to get a variety of different brands than having your heart set on one. I know plenty of people to have bought the full baby bottle system from their favorite brand only for their baby to arrive and they didn’t like the nipple that goes with the bottle, or worse they had colic and only tolerated a particular brand and bottle type.

Free samples give your baby an opportunity to try out different types so you can see which bottle is best for them. Once you find out what bottle brand and type works the best for your baby, then you can go out and buy more of those bottles. Keep on the lookout for Day 3: How to Get Free Formula.
