Today is day 3 of the 5 days of freebies. In the video, I went into detail on 8 ways to get free formula but if you keep reading this post you will learn the contact information to get free baby formula directly from the brand manufacturer. According to Baby Center’s baby calculator, baby formula will cost $950-$1200 for the first six months. After reading this post you will be saving money and cut the cost significantly.
How to Get Free Baby Formula
- Sign up for Reward Programs. Ibotta, Rakuten, or Swagbucks allows you to earn points that you can trade-in for cash back or gift cards that you can use to getbaby formula and coupons. It is free to sign up and you can get reward points for taking online surveys, extra points when you shop, or for just being a member.
- Get Free Baby Formula Samples. It is free to sign up with Everyday Family where you can get tons of free formula samples and coupons. There are also other similar programs that you can sign up to receive free samples that will include baby formula.
- Ask the Pediatrician. When I worked as a nurse in pediatrics we kept the supply room stocked with formula, bottles, and diapers. We were always offering free baby essentials to our patients.
- Ask the Hospital. When you are at the hospital after you deliver your baby ask the nurse for samples because they also keep their supply room stocked with every baby essential that you can think of including baby formula and breastfeeding supplies.
- Request samples from the formula producers. You can go directly to the formula producer and sign up to get the free formula. This is a great option if you are wanting to use a specific brand. Enfamil, Similac, and Gerber will mail you formula along with coupons after you sign up on their website.
- Get Formula Samples for a Discount. This is not completely free but it is definitely cheaper than buying the formula full price. Nature’s One Organic Formula. This is not completely free but it is definitely cheaper than buying this formula at full price. A sample of Nature’s One Organic Formula will cost $5.95 for shipping. You can get 12 oz samples for $8.98 from Parents Choice.
- Ask for coupons. Just like you should sign-up for your favorite baby formula brand for free samples, you can also just reach out to them and ask them for coupons.
- Sign up for WIC if you qualify. WIC is income-based but if you qualify you will receive all of the formula that your baby will need for the first 6 months for free. You can also check your local food bank for free baby formula.
