What normally helps me during these times is to stay informed so that I can make sure that I can protect my family and myself, and give myself time to relax and decompress.

Additionally there might be an increased risk of adverse outcomes such as preterm birth, among other things. If you are pregnant, be mindful about reducing your risk of getting sick.

How can you reduce the risk of getting COVID-19?
The best ways to reduce the spread of COVID-19 are:
- Limit your interactions with other people as much as possible through social distancing
- When interacting with others is unavoidable, take by wearing a mask while in the company of others
- Follow proper handwashing protocols
- Consider shopping alternatives such as grocery store pick-up, delivery, online shopping.
If you start feeling sick and think you may have COVID-19, call your healthcare provider within 24 hours.
Remember even with the proper mask and handwashing techniques, there is no way to ensure you have a zero chance of getting sick with COVID-19, so try to be as safe as possible.

- Keep up with your prenatal care appointments. Do not skip them, always reschedule if necessary, if you are concerned about attending your appointment due to COVID-19 talk to your healthcare provider.
- Take your prenatal vitamins
- Make sure that you have at least a 30-day supply of your medicines and consider mail order from your local pharmacy or vitamin store.
- Talk to your healthcare provider about how to stay healthy and take care of yourself during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Talk to your provider about ways to boost your immune system.
- If you don’t have a healthcare provider, contact your nearest community health center or health department.
- Seek care immediately if you have a medical emergency.
Talk to your provider about how they are taking steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus during prenatal appointments as well as during labor and delivery.

Delivering your baby is always safest under the supervision of trained healthcare professionals. If you have questions about the best place to deliver your baby, discuss them with your healthcare provider.
When you are feel in doubt remember, you are a STRONG Woman, you got this. As women we were born ready to be able to endure for the sake of our children! You will get through these challenges to be able to hold your sweet bundle of joy at the end.

Staying physically active during pregnancy is beneficial for both mom and baby.
Including some form of exercise most days of the week can help keep your core strong, your muscles fit, and your cardiovascular system in top shape. Plus it can do wonders for your mental health.
Make sure to listen to your body and stop if you feel any discomfort or pain. And as always, talk with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about how your body is responding to an exercise program.
